The story of My First Book about Prophet Muhammad
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was born in the city of Makkah. His father died before he was born, and his mother died when he was six, so his grandfather Abdul Muttalib looked after him, and then his uncle Abu Talib.
As he grew up, everyone in Makkah knew that Muhammad ﷺ always told the truth and always kept what people trusted him with. They called him Al-Amin, the trustworthy one.
The cave of Hira
When he was forty, the Prophet ﷺ went to a quiet cave on a mountain near Makkah to think and to worship Allah. There, the angel Jibril came to him with the first words of the Qur'an: "Read, in the name of your Lord who created."
The best of people
The Prophet ﷺ taught people to worship Allah alone and to be kind. He smiled at the people he met, he helped at home, and he was gentle with children and animals. He said that the best of people are the ones with the best manners.
When we hear his name, we say "sallallahu alayhi wa sallam": may Allah send peace and blessings on him.
