What is The Monkey, the Cow and the Wolf about?
The Monkey, the Cow and the Wolf is an interactive Islamic story for children aged 5 to 8 about a monkey who makes a promise to his friend the cow, and a wolf who tries to make him break it.
When the wolf offers the monkey a basket of bananas to tell a small lie, the monkey has to decide what matters more: the bananas, or keeping his word. Children help him think it through, choose what he says and see how honesty keeps the whole farmyard safe.
The story teaches that a Muslim keeps promises and tells the truth, even when a lie looks easier. It is a Miraj original, reviewed by Islamic scholars.
